One thing I tell patients all the time is that what you do between your visits matters. Chiropractic adjustments can help restore movement and reduce stress in the areas that aren't functioning the way that they should. But we also want your body to become stronger and more resilient outside the office. That's where therapeutic exercises come in. Based on what we find during the initial examination and throughout your care, we may recommend specific exercises for you to perform at home.
For some people, that may mean improving core or hip stability. For others, we may be working on mobility, strengthening a specific area, or helping your body develop better movement patterns. And we're not giving everybody the same generic list of exercises. The exercises we recommend are chosen because they relate specifically to what we're seeing in your body and what you're trying to get back to doing. Ultimately, my goal isn't for you to feel like you have to depend on coming into our office forever.
I want the adjustments we're making in the office combined with the work you're doing at home to help your body adapt better, become more resilient, and allow you to get back to doing the things you love to do. So, if you're ready to understand what's going on with your body and have a plan that extends beyond the time you spend in our office, we'd love to help. Book your first appointment and we'll start building a plan that's specific to you.
This video is general education, not a diagnosis. Every patient is different, and the right care starts with an exam.
