OUR 3-STEP PROCESS

Every visit follows the same three-step process, designed to help your nervous system actually receive and adapt to the adjustment:

1. PRIME

Enter into a parasympathetic state with guided diaphragmatic breathing to prime your nervous system and prepare your body to receive the adjustment.

2. FACILITATE

Receive a gentle, specific chiropractic adjustment that restores alignment and supports nervous system function.

3. INTEGRATE

Instead of rushing you out the door, we ease you back into movement. Your body continues adapting to the adjustment over the next day or two as you go about normal daily life.

This flow ensures that every adjustment isn’t just performed — it’s fully integrated into your nervous system for long-lasting impact.

YOUR FIRST VISIT

One-on-one consultation with Dr. Hansen to discuss your health history and goals
A hands-on physical exam: range of motion, orthopedic and neurologic testing, and palpation
Digital X-rays taken in our office when your exam points to a reason for them
Your first adjustment, if appropriate, based on what the exam actually shows, not a routine crack for everyone

YOUR SECOND VISIT

A full walkthrough of your exam and X-ray findings, in plain language
A discussion of your recommended care plan and what it’s actually working toward
A review of your payment options and the full cost before you commit to anything
A chance to ask questions before deciding how you want to move forward

I had a hard time climbing stairs not sure if it was my knees or back that was to problem.  Coming to River of life has helped me move around,  right now I don't have knee pain.  Funny I didn't even realize I was not hurting climbing up and down a ladder until today.  I am looking forward to be pain free.  Thank you for your help and very flexible on my hours. I recently experienced a sciatic nerve issue that caused significant discomfort and made everyday activities extremely difficult. Even simple tasks like putting on my socks, shoes, or pants in the morning would take me at least 20 minutes because of the pain and limited mobility.

I came here for treatment, and within a month, I was amazed at how much better I felt. The pain that had been interfering with my daily routine was gone, and I was able to get back to my normal activities.
