If you're someone who struggles with headaches or migraines, you know how much they can interfere with your life. One of the things we look at in our office is what may be contributing to those headaches from a neurological and a structural standpoint. The upper neck in particular contains a tremendous amount of neurological information. When those joints aren't moving properly, it can create irritation, increase muscle tension, and change the way the nervous system is processing information from that area. That doesn't mean that every headache comes from your neck, and that's why we don't want to guess.

We look at your history, your headache patterns, your neurological function, how your neck is moving, and when appropriate, your digital x-rays. If we determine that chiropractic is appropriate, we use very specific adjustments with the goal of restoring better motion and reducing unnecessary stress in the area that we found to be the problem area. Ultimately, we want to help you understand why you're experiencing the headaches, not just give you another temporary way to cover them up.

If headaches or migraines are affecting your work, your family, or the things you enjoy doing, we'd love to learn more about what you've been experiencing. Book an appointment with us and let's start by figuring out what may be contributing to them. Have a blessed day.

This video is general education, not a diagnosis. Every patient is different, and the right care starts with an exam.
