If you're dealing with low back pain or sciatica, one of the biggest things we want to figure out is why it's happening in the first place. A lot of times people come in after they've been stretching, taking medication, or trying to manage the pain for months, but nobody has really looked at what may be creating the irritation in the first place. With sciatica especially, we're looking at how the lower spine, pelvis, and nervous system are functioning and if there's any restrictions or increased stress around the lower lumbar spine, which is your low back, that can irritate the nerves traveling into the hip and the leg.

At River of Life Chiropractic, we start with a thorough history, examination, and when appropriate, digital x-rays so we can see exactly what we're working with. From there, our goal is to make very specific adjustments to restore movement, reduce unnecessary stress on the nervous system, and help your body get back to functioning the way it's supposed to. And if we see something that needs an MRI or another provider to be involved, we'll help you take that next step as well. So, if low back pain or sciatica has been keeping you from doing the things you love, we'd love the opportunity to sit down with you and figure out what's going on and see if we can help.
